Located in Dallas’ flagpole hill amidst protected native grasses, CamargoCopeland’s innovative pump station design for Dallas Water Utilities incorporates the pump station ventilation requirements into one compact and integrated design thereby minimizing the visible footprint of the facility. Sought after by NDM Consulting Engineers for our design expertise, we guided the City and Project Engineer through community meetings and satisfied neighborhood demands by allowing the integrity of the park be protected.  Through our design efforts resistance to the proposed water delivery system improvements was minimal. Designed to emulate the WPA era buildings on the park, the facility is composed of veneer limestone, cast stone and standing seam roofs that emulate Texas Vernacular Architecture blending seamlessly into its pastoral surrounding.
