Irving ISD Administrative Complex
As part of the 1997 Bond Program, CamargoCopeland was selected to provide a Feasibility Study and Master Plan to research multiple options of combining the numerous existing Administration Buildings into one facility. Our firm conducted interview sessions with end-users during the Programming phase. Upon evaluation of the resulting options, Irving ISD opted to acquire an existing facility. CamargoCopeland then led the team on Phase II of the project which involved the upgrade and renovation of an existing multi-level 1980’s office building that now houses IISD’s new administration building. The project program required inclusion of a Board Room for community meetings and a large training center for teacher training and Continuing Education. Project scope included coordination of MEP, Structural, IT/AV and Lighting subconsultants to implement comprehensive infrastructure upgrades; ADA/TAS updates and compliance were also part of the complete Interior Architecture/Finish-out design services.
