Three Bell Plaza
CamargoCopeland Architects implemented new corporate standards in 72,000 SF of office space in downtown Dallas for Southwestern Bell.
Working with SWB representatives in Chicago, CaCo validated the facilities program and successfully developed workable solutions for several groups being relocated to Dallas, TX. Concurrent and fast-tracked development and implementation of new corporate office standards, while updating the existing facilities to meet current building codes and accessibility standards for the 12th, 15th, 22nd and 23rd floors of 3-Bell Plaza, was an important requirement of the project to meet SWB’s consolidation schedule goals. The scope of the project also included documentation and field verification of the existing floor plates, designing new elevator lobbies with an emphasis in the augmentation of the existing Life-Safety systems; updating existing MEP infrastructure inclusive of new restroom design; space planning for affected client groups; and in addition to implementation of new office systems standards, coordination of new Corporate Technology standards.
Given the quality of drawings developed by CaCo through the course of the project, the drawings became the standard background for other designers of additional Architectural packages being developed simultaneously by SWB for their corporate consolidation/relocation program.
